I've said this before, and will no doubt say it again,"There is no reason for a car to go faster than the POSTED SPEED LIMIT!" I dream of the day when every vehicle will have GPS and all are tracked. Each car will have a governor switch for those who believe "DRIVING IS A BIRTHRIGHT" (it is not) and choose to not get whatever new autonomous transports waiting for us in the future. Vehicles driven by humans will not be allowed to run red lights (or speed up for yellows), because the car will not allow it. When entering a residential or school zone, said driver can push on the accelerator as hard as he (more likely she) wants, but the machine will refuse to endanger possible obstacles like children or vans with whole families of precious celebrities..........
